Perfection is sometimes a little boring...

At Maison Sisal, each piece is the result of creation and patient work from Madagascar. But, between the hands of our artisans and your home, it sometimes happens that the manufacturing or logistics leave their marks: a weave that decided to go its own way, a color that enjoyed the Malagasy sun a little too much, or a shape that proudly claims its originality.

Rather than leaving these products in the closet, which would be a sacrilege for the raw material and the time spent, we decided to give them a second chance with our "Broken Faces" collection.

Why fall for a "Broken Face"?

• Respect for the material: Sisal and Raffia are very present, noble and robust. The quality of the fiber is in no way affected.

• Absolute uniqueness: These flaws are, by definition, impossible to reproduce.

• A gesture for the planet: By purchasing an "imperfect" product, you are participating in a zero-waste approach and continue to support Malagasy craftsmanship.

• A price that is also broken: Because they are not "perfect" by our standards, we offer them to you at an advantageous price.

Each product sheet specifies the small "hic" of the item:

• "Sunburns": Faded shades or irregular nuances.

• "The Undisciplined": A slightly loose weave or a skipped stitch.

• "Off-piste": Dimensions or shapes that deviate from the original model.

They're a little wobbly, a little discolored, but they're just waiting for a home to shine.
